The AK Alfa Rifle to Debut at the 2016 SHOT Show

Kalashnikov USA , manufacturer of Kalashnikov style firearms, is proud to announce the AK Alfa will make its debut at booth 12571 at the 2016 SHOT Show held in Las Vegas, Nevada, Jan. 19 – 22, 2016.

The AK Alfa, built on the “engine” of the AK, has been redesigned with the sole purpose of providing outstanding performance on the battlefield. A team of hand-picked Israel Defense Force (IDF) snipers and engineers re-engineered the iconic AK platform to better serve today’s warfighter. The AK Alfa’s ability to conform to the user’s body type and shooting style make this rifle a custom AK right out of the box. All of the Alfa’s features have been thoroughly developed and tested to meet the high standards of unrelenting reliability, durability and performance.

“The AK Alfa design is a direct result of combining the historical reliability and worldwide acceptance of the AK platform with the latest in firearms technologies and manufacturing,” Tom McCrossin, CEO of Kalashnikov USA commented. “Couple that with maximizing user fit and performance and you have tomorrow’s AK today in the Alfa.”

The first two models of the new AK Alfa line are the AKL and AKS, both 7.62x39mm, and are expected to ship in 2016.

A host of features make the AK Alfa easy for the user to customize like an ambidextrous safety lever, magazine release and charging handle. Additionally, a retractable buttstock, adjustable cheek piece and interchangeable customized pistol grip inserts conform the Alfa to the user’s body type, easily and quickly without the use of tools.

Other features also allow the user to conform the rifle to specific missions, such as interchangeable charging grips and replaceable Picatinny rails and forearm grips. A sealed battery compartment in the pistol grip keeps moisture and dust away from the stored batteries. The AK Alfa uses standard AK magazines.

The Kalashnikov USA new USA132Z rifle in 7.62x39mm is built on the AK74 design with modernized features and functionality. CAA furniture enhances the rifles ergonomics, capabilities and comfort. Kalashnikov USA, manufacturer of Kalashnikov style firearms, has launched a new website at http://www.kalashnikov-usa.com/, reflective of their new branding efforts under the “Russian Heritage / American Innovation” tag line. The new site allows users to effortlessly navigate to the various pages and Kalashnikov USA social sites.

Users can quickly navigate between the Home page and other pages using the clearly defined tab buttons at the top right. The Firearms tab is a drop down design providing a choice of currently offered products. Each product page highlights the features, benefits and specifications of the firearm.

To find out where to purchase a Kalashnikov USA firearm, click the Dealers tab button and a map of the continental United States appears. Kalashnikov USA Announces Move

Kalashnikov USA , manufacturer of Kalashnikov style firearms, announces the company will relocate to South Florida. The new facility will include corporate offices and allow for manufacturing, warehousing and shipping functions to occur in one location. The move, which will take place over the next several months, will not affect the projected 2015 second quarter shipping of the new Kalashnikov USA firearms.

“With the growth of the company, manufacturing requirements and the rebranding efforts now underway, Kalashnikov USA felt the time was right to move the headquarters where we can incorporate our new manufacturing capabilities,” Thomas McCrossin, CEO of Kalashnikov USA said. “Our new facility in South Florida offers the opportunity to expand as we grow while offering customers increased customer support and firearms produced using the latest manufacturing technologies and materials.”

Kalashnikov USA , manufacturer of Kalashnikov style firearms, announces the hiring of four industry sales professionals to become regional account managers for Kalashnikov USA covering the entire 50 states.

Reese Cullinane, a former US Army Infantry Fire Team Leader with over twenty years of professional sales experience, six within the firearms industry, will be covering the territories of New England, Mid-Atlantic, Arkansas, Texas and Hawaii. Jonas Sherman holds a dual degree from Northeastern University in Management Information Systems and Marketing. Jonas is an NRA instructor and brings executive protection and retailer experience to the team. He will concentrate on the mid-US states from Michigan and Indiana to Montana and south to New Mexico.

Steven Kates has over 30-years of sales and marketing experience in the firearms industry and law enforcement sales. Steve is also an NRA instructor and radio/television personality promoting the shooting sports in Phoenix, Arizona. Steve will service the west coast, including Arizona, Utah, Idaho and Alaska. Andrew Breneman will cover the southeast from Tennessee and North Carolina to Louisiana and down through Florida.
