The IWI US TAVOR® SAR is the 2014 American Rifleman Rifle of the Year

The prestigious award, now in its twelfth year, acknowledges the finest products available in the shooting sports. Winners are selected by a seven-member committee and must meet or exceed the evaluator’s expectations. Since its introduction earlier in 2013, the TAVOR SAR® received exemplary reviews on its performance, innovation in design, styling and function. The TAVOR SAR® was reviewed and chosen over thousands of other products reviewed by the American Rifleman staff to receive the most highly anticipated and regarded award in the shooting sports industry.

The website features eye-catching photography of both the very popular TAVOR SAR and the soon to be announced UZI Pro Pistol. The functionality of the site is user-friendly with easy to navigate tabs and buttons that provide the visitor with an array of information and downloadables.

Under the Support tab, visitors can download the TAVOR SAR Owner’s Manual and the 2013 IWI US Product Catalog. The Safety button brings visitors to important firearms safe handling information and several downloadable safety guides from the National Shooting Sports Foundation. A prolific FAQ provides visitors with many of the answers they may be looking for regarding ownership of a TAVOR SAR or how to contact IWI for various services. For media personnel, IWI US’ most current press releases and images are available for download.

An online warranty registration form is available as is a newsletter sign up form, where visitors can be the first to receive IWI US information and promotions.

The new site was developed by Quarter Note Systems, LLC, a full service information technology provider specializing in complex website design and development, database web and client/server applications, and Local Area Network/Wide Area Network solutions. The site’s photography and overall look and feel were created by Threshold Creative, Inc. a creative agency with capabilities in branding, packaging, broadcast, print and interactive media for all size companies.

The Pennsylvania State Capitol Police Choose IWI US TAVOR® SAR

 IWI US, Inc.  a subsidiary of Israel Weapon Industries (IWI), is proud to announce that the Pennsylvania State Capitol Police have chosen to carry the IWI US TAVOR® SAR. The Pennsylvania Capitol Police are a section of the Pennsylvania Department of General Services. They provide law enforcement, security and parking enforcement services to the State Capitol Complex in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and at state government buildings in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and Scranton.

The TAVOR® SAR, specifically designed for the U.S. market, was developed in close cooperation with the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). Available in black and Flat Dark Earth, the TAVOR features fully ambidextrous controls with removable 16.5” or 18” chrome-lined barrels, a full-length top-mounted integral Picatinny rail and a short 45° rail for mounting accessories. Also available are a left-hand model with a 16.5” barrel and an IDF model with an integral MEPRO-21 reflex sight. The TAVOR® SAR uses standard AR-15/M16 magazines and is easily field-stripped into sub-assemblies for routine maintenance.

IWI US, Inc. TAVOR® SAR Bullpup Rifles Commence Shipping to Distributors

 

 

IWI US, Inc.  a subsidiary of Israel Weapon Industries (IWI), has commenced shipments of the long-awaited TAVOR® SAR bullpup rifles to their distributors. Shipments have been carefully choreographed for product arrival to various distributors across the country at relatively the same time. IWI US continues to ramp up production and shipping in the coming weeks. An assortment of black and FDE TAVOR® SAR rifles in 16.5” barrels and several black, left-hand rifles along with a small quantity of the TAVOR® SAR IDF model are among the initial product shipments.

The body of the TAVOR^® SAR, specially designed for the US market, is crafted from high strength polymer, and will be offered in black or Flat Dark Earth colors. Created especially for the US market, the exceptionally lightweight and compact UZI^® PRO Pistol is ergonomically designed and easy to operate by right or left-handed users. It offers closed-bolt operation for maximum accuracy and safety. With many of its components made of advanced polymeric materials, the UZI PRO’s features include two Picatinny rails for various accessories, one on the top of the pistol and a second one forward under the barrel. It will be supplied with two magazines, one 20- and one 25-round.
