Announcing the Launch of Make Big Noise (MBN), the Online Press Release Distribution Service for the Outdoor, Shooting Sports, Military and Law Enforcement Industries

Make Big Noise (MBN) is pleased to announce the official launch of its press release distribution software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform for startups, small businesses and busy businesses in the outdoor, shooting sports, military and law enforcement industries. The result of a combined 36 years of Public Relations experience, MBN was developed by Laura Burgess Marketing (LBM) to provide manufacturers the opportunity to reach media and news outlets in the markets that matter most to them. All media, from bloggers to editor-in-chiefs, are opted-in and vetted by the MBN staff before receiving a single press release.

The initial launch of the platform focuses on 21 markets within the Shooting Sports / Professionals Category, including, but not limited to, Ammunition, Firearms Accessories, Knives, Law Enforcement and various types of firearms and hunting. MBN will open up to the Fishing, Boating and Water Sport Categories in spring 2015, with the Camping and Hiking Categories opening up in early summer 2015. Laura Burgess Marketing Concludes Successful Inaugural Writer’s Event “Make Big Noise”

Laura Burgess Marketing (LBM), public relations and marketing communications for the law enforcement, tactical, military, shooting sports, boating and recreational fishing markets, has successfully concluded its inaugural Writer’s GroupShotEvent “Make Big Noise,” hosted at the G4S International Training (ITI) Facility, located in Shacklefords, VA, June 24th – 25th, 2014. The event was attended by 11 manufacturing companies and 16 industry writers and bloggers covering topics such as law enforcement, sport shooting, tactical shooting and firearms. The writers and bloggers hail from major industry print houses, popular internet blogs and podcasts.

The event covered a full day of class and range product demonstrations, as well as a half day driving course taught by the G4S ITI instructors. Exhibiting manufacturers included: American Built Arms, Chamber-View®,Eagle Imports, Fobus Holsters,IWI US, LaserLyte, Liberty Ammunition, MG Industries, Mission First Tactical, Morphix Technologies and Tacprogear.

Writers remarked about how well organized, thought out and flawless the event was. “Everything was first class, I was very impressed with how well organized the event was bumper to bumper,” one writer remarked. Manufacturers enjoyed the access they had to writers and trainers at ITI and thought the event was well run and relaxed, yet very professional. One manufacturer commented that it was a “great first media event! Everyone was informed and happy and it was a great opportunity to receive good, honest feedback on our products from informed people.”
